Why three is the answer

A three-day shape

Day two, out of the centre. Assistens Cemetery in Nørrebro, 25 hectares opened in 1760 as a burial ground for the poor, where Hans Christian Andersen, Søren Kierkegaard and Niels Bohr are buried. Then Kastellet, begun in 1626 and dated in its rebuilt form to 30 October 1664, where Struensee waited for execution and the English explorer John Norcross was held 32 years, 16 of them in a wooden cage.
